      Does the location of the ground matter? Can I choose its location?

      It is important to follow the X-trodes recommendations as it ensures acquiring accurate and consistent signals:

      1. xtr EEG16 (XTELC046GM05) – on the bridge of the nose.
      2. xtr EEG12 (XTELC048GM05) – on the back of the neck.
      3. xtr EXG2 (XTELC0002005RM) – this is a general-purpose montage. You can use it in any body area you want, and the ground electrode will be located accordingly.
      4. xtr EXG16 (XTELC0003405RM) – this is a general-purpose montage. You can use it in any body area you want, and the ground electrode will be located accordingly.
      5. xtr fEMG16 (XTELC0004005RM) – on the mastoid bone (behind the ear).
      6. xtr SLEEP (XTELC047RM05)- on the mastoid bone (behind the ear).
